A History in America of Original Man

Andre vocals Wayne on Keys and Miss Dee on bass

In the process of writing songs that touched the emotions of we who were in a community striving to make it, the Motown Sound involved lyrics that sometimes could be construed as reflecting the voice of God towards we the church. In particular a jilted groom who is seeking the return of His bride to be.

Baby Love
My baby Love
I miss you
Oh how I miss you love

Or as we all remember the "Get Ready" album with the Temps Getting Ready. They were getting their hair straight as I recall as imitators, not of sound but of appearence being told how to imitate in order to become more marketable. I believe only Otis remained natural on the cover.

Yet we imitate still to this day in order to become more marketable. Instead of being sensitive to His will we make sure to please our little group regardlesss what it is for man's approval. It is a fact of life until the CHANGE happens and we begin to "get ready" for Him and His return. When He returns my prayer is to not be involved with my hair (smile).
