This has one of my favorite things to do. Here we all were learning then expressing ourselves on stage with James Clay. Roger Boykins is on piano. Professors Clay and Boykins were selfless in their instruction to all who would listen like Sonny Stitt. The club Sambuca was built around the needs of the musicians like James Clay. I was working an emergency room by day in University Park in Dallas.
Due to the Willie Lynch mentality of the underlings, it is only by grace of God that I am alive today.
